River Rafting

There are various rivers in the country specially the North Indian Rivers present themselves as a collection of the best river rafting in the world within a small geographical location. A number of Lakes in the Kumaon Region and The Ganga with its upper tributaries Alaknanda, Bhagirathi and various other smaller tributaries can be hailed as the Queen of the River Rafting Industry.

The Indian Association of Professional Rafting Outfitters is the main body that coordinates and controls the river rafting operations in the country with the help and support of active river rafting outfitters in the country. All rafting outfitters must have a compulsory permission from the state tourism departments for running operations on any river in the country.

River rafting in India can be generally classified in to two categories namely, Day trips (a few hours of fun) or Multiple Day / Expedition runs. Day trips are obtainable on the following rivers:

Ganga in Uttaranchal, Teesta in Sikkim, Beas in Himachal Pradesh, Kaveri in Karnataka,

Nainital Tours

How to reach

Railways: Kathgodam is the last station of broad gauze line of North East which is 35 k.m. from Naintal and Railways have connecting Nainital with Delhi, Dehradun & Howarah.

Traffic Rules On the Mall Road - Entry of heavy traffic is restricted during the months of May, June and October from 8 AM to 10.30 AM and 2.30 PM to 10.30 PM, light vehicles from 6.00 PM to 10.00 PM and cycle rickshaw from 6.00 PM to 9.00 PM.

Air: Pantnagar is nearest airport, which is 70 Kms from Nainital.

Mussoorie Tours

The queen of hill stations Mussoorie is about 89 km from Haridwar and the healthy climate and deep woods make it an ideal hill station. The name, Mussoorie, derives its name from plants of 'Mussoorie', found in plenty here. After its discovery, this place gradually developed as a center of education, business, tourism and beauty. The hill station of Mussoorie came into being around the 1830s. What began as a small settlement grew into a large station to turn into a hill station of today overlooking the sprawling Doon valley and the city of Dehradun. Mussoorie was not named after a place in England. The British were content to follow the name given by the hill-folk. Mussoorie, at a height of around 7000 ft above the sea level, straddles a ridge in the Garhwal Himalayas, developing into a major tourism destination.

By Air: The nearest airport is Jollygrant, Dehradun

By Rail: The nearest railhead is Dehradun, followed by Haridwar and Rishikesh

By Road: Mussorie is 35 from Dehradun and which is well connected to all major towns and cities.


Valley of flowers Tours

High in the Himalayan ranges of Garhwal hills of Uttarakhand lies an enthralled valley. Day 6: Ranikhet
After Breakfast Visit Mankameshwar, Upat and Kalika, Tarikhet, Binsar Mahadev, Majkhali etc. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 7: Ranikhet - Corbett National Park (114km/3hr)
After breakfast, drive to Corbett National Park. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 8: Corbett National Park
After breakfast, Visit Corbett National Park. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Corbett - Delhi (280kms/7hr)
After early breakfast, drive back to Delhi. On Arr. Delhi, transfer to Railway Station / Airport.
